Spanishroll Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Vinyl is a cheaper choice and can be removed.. They also stand out a lot more and if placed properly can really enhance the look of certain aspects of a Z car Painted however blends extremely well and would last a lot longer than a vinyl stripe Either way, both look awesome - I'm just curious on peoples opinions.. Also to get some information; I was talking to "zzzzed" via PM about how somebody had made up some vinyl stripes for him... Does anybody know a company/website where I can like.. personalise stripes (or choose from a selection) and order? If there is no such thing.. perhaps I have a business on my hands! Cheers! Quote

Go to a race meeting (does canberra have a racetrack?) near you on a weekend, and look for the cars with stick on graphics and stripes then ask them who they used. I know one of the signwriters who does this sort of thing in Melbourne, but that doesn't help you much. Quote
Spanishroll Posted June 4, 2010 Author Posted June 4, 2010 Yeah, it's proving quite difficult to actually find a place that will do this.. :S Quote
Stivva Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 I ordered a big sheet of vinyl yesterday to cover my bonnet with. I am sure the company could provide you with some help. Its an automotive wrap vinyl made specifically for this kinda thing. Lasts 5-7 years. Contact Warren and tell him Photomotive (he will be away until Sunday week, 20th June) warren@xcesiv.com Quote

Thomo260 Posted June 8, 2010 Posted June 8, 2010 A mate of mine here in Ballarat has a little sideline business doing vinyl signs and if you show him a photo and tell him what you want he just makes them up. Like these ones we did for a rally/trial that I competed in. Quote
Spanishroll Posted June 8, 2010 Author Posted June 8, 2010 They look sweet - I have that info as well.. Could I grab his email off you so I can send him the stuff he'd need to give me a quote?? Cheers Quote
