Stinkbug Posted March 26 Share Posted March 26 Thought I’d better start a proper thread about my engine build instead of carrying on in the general section. plan is to pull out the 4.4L and Supra box to fuel inject and turbocharge my L26. im slowly gathering the bits to do so. so far I have a l26, an e88 carby head and the efi intake. this weekend I redrilled the head to mount the efi manifold, and notched the ports for the injectors. Seemed a bit daunting but in reality it was pretty easy. I’ll be putting a micro squirt in to control the spark and the injectors, with ls2 coils and I have a turbo off a forester gt laying around. question, will the forester turbo be adequate? I plan on running around 10 psi. Also can I get some injector advice. will standard 280zx injectors be ample? Or will I be better off getting some higher flowing ones in anticipation of future upgrades should the need arise? If someone could chime in that would be great.
