road rider Posted March 3, 2022 Posted March 3, 2022 Has anyone had to transport a car interstate? If so, who did you use and what was the experience like. I've received some quotes but there are mixed reviews for most online and some are down right terrible. Deposit on car has been paid and final payment will happen after a friend looks at the car this weekend. I cant see any problems arising as the owner has supplied me with a plethora of photos and all seems to be okay. Any advice would be greatly appreciated and thanks in advance all. Sorry for posting this topic here, but I thought it might have more of a chance of getting noticed! And I need to book something sooner rather than later lol. Oh and this is the car! But, you need to be aware that many car carriers will NOT take classic cars (ie >25 years old) or if they do require enclosed transport. You are then left with carriers that are not cheap. road rider and peter t 2 Quote

This could be the one going by the reviews on this site. Nothing but positive reviews, such a reassurance. Truckit.net Reviews | Read Customer Service Reviews of truckit.net (trustpilot.com) I've used this particular site to get some reviews of other carriers I've received quotes from. Some reviews are very damning of some carrier companies out there. One particular carrier had nothing but negative reviews. Quote

Assuming it is a reliable runner, another option is the Indian-Pacific MotoRail $625 Perth to Adelaide in 2 days - you collect it and drive to Melbourne road rider 1 Quote
