Millerman
Hi guys just wondering if anyone has put s13 suspensions into an s30? im looking at going coilover route and have access to coilovers which are more my kind of budget but are too suit s13. i believe that you can weld the bottom to the hub assembly and then slightly modify the top to accomodate. i know if you go coilover then there is welding to be done either way... just putting the feelers out to see what others have experienced Thanks Dan

260DET
My comment is that given the increasing value of 260's doing mods just to save a few $ may not be best for the long term value of the car.
C.A.R.
You can't weld an S13 spring/damper assembly to a Z stub axle/knuckle. You need to use an S13 knuckle & hub, with a hybrid S13/Z LCA. S13 strut top is too large for the Z strut tower, so an Z strut top - either OEM or aftermarket needs to be modified to fit the S13 damper rod. Whatever you do, you'll have more fabrication work then you think. I suggest you just go with lowered King springs and Z31 front dampers. peter t
MCA Suspension do quality coil overs for S30's. Have a choice of spring rates to go with them. 07-38655091. CBR Jeff
