Race/Track cars in general can be a funny market. but this one, you can see has an early hatch, and the rear quarter vents possibly filled. probably doesnt look as good in person as it does in the pictures. Administrators gav240z Posted November 20, 2020 Author Administrators Share Posted November 20, 2020 Also had a good roof dent and a few other areas of lifting paint. Bonnet was also bent down from prior front end knock. But it's running / driving and not much visible rust. OdinZ and Bruce

Administrators gav240z Posted January 12, 2021 Author Administrators Share Posted January 12, 2021 I believe it's a very well restored 260z, original owner car from what I understand. Should be an interesting 1 to watch. I helped supply new "white" 260z door trims, which as you can imagine are difficult to find these days. It will be a good to see what sort of price benchmark it sets for a 260Z (for insurance purposes). Interesting they did not look at an east coast auction. GregTas
4 minutes ago, gav240z said: Probably not good. I see the start of a race car there. Less work needed to chop the guards out for a set of bolt on flares. It would obviously need someone that can do the bodywork themselves to race car standard. Won't be the prettiest, but a body and bits for $1500 sounds ok. I might have taken it on if it was closer to home. gav240z

And sitting in the midst of all that s**t plus the untidy interior does nothing for sale presentation. Quote To be honest it's a lemon, the value is in the drivetrain.. True.
