Mr Camouflage
http://www.gumtree.com.au/s-ad/gosford/cars-vans-utes/1974-datsun-260z-coupe/1065650660 Offers over $1500. Honestly I don't think that rusty POS is worth $500. Maybe if the bonnet is ok.
Administrators gav240z Posted December 25, 2014 Author Administrators Share Posted December 25, 2014 If the roof is good it is worth $1000 on its own. But I doubt the roof isn't rusted. Might have other parts worthwhile but the body is shot to shit.

Seems like an absolute bargain to me. But obviously you would want to inspect for rust etc.. Looks like it has fender mirrors mounted on the door. Looks like it has fender mirrors mounted on the door. Indeed it could well be an absolute bargain, I am just rather cautious with any car that seems to be a bargain. Seen too many dodgy cars over the years I have been in this car game. If it was in Sydney would probably go and have a look.

chris240
Well it was still "showing" for sale at 10.30am east coast time....maybe sold last night perth time..
Administrators gav240z Posted December 29, 2014 Author Administrators Share Posted December 29, 2014 It was listed and sold faster than I had to really take much notice of it. Thanks to the Google-bot cache I can provide these pics. It certainly looked straight and would appear rust free, but who knows what is under the paint? Moderators PB260Z Posted January 1, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 1, 2015 That could be a good project for someone, especially if it has the original motor and nothing major is missing. And it is already in Adelaide so getting it to Paul would be easy
Administrators gav240z Posted January 1, 2015 Author Administrators Share Posted January 1, 2015 Would love to get my hands on some of those spares. I guess someone has had a new years resolution to get rid of it? Front end looks a bit average but at least you know what you're up against. Good to see some early cars are being uncovered. Moderators PB260Z Posted January 1, 2015 Moderators Share Posted January 1, 2015 That bloke purchased the #308 2 weeks ago for less than 6k So he's hoping to turn a quick profit. Good luck to him. Not really serious, especially at that price. But a tidy early girl would nice to have in the garage. Better go and win the Lotto.
