So this ones been in the pipeline for a while, it's an original two owner car and originated down near Albury way and lived there all of it's life until now. All complete and matching numbers and still retains the e31 head and radio. My plans are to get the paint tidied up along with the interior which is a bit shabby but all original and drive this one for a while, overall its a pretty cool original old car :)

Is this the 1 that was with the other early car? HS30 00103?

Looks rough and ready but original.

Edit* Just checked and yes it is, Fabio's old car. :D

It sure was, overall it's pretty original and has got virtually no rust in the body and i would say 75% of the paint is original and doesn't appear to have been involved in any major accidents. Fabio and his Wife bought it of the original owner, drove it up and down the road every so often then it got parked in the shed, I'm guessing from the service sticker its been of the road since around 1991.

By the way Curtis when you saw HS30 00103 did it have a Nissan 2400 OHC cover on the engine? Fabio was going to check but I didn't end up hearing back from him. Still curious when our cut off point is for HS30's.

Very cool! Always been my favourite colour for zeds.

Do the fender mirrors appear original? Can't imagine many buyers opted for them when they bought - much more desirable now...

I didn't know you bought it, didn't they put the price up after another so called expert told them the deal you made was too cheap? Did they know the deal had been made, that is just bad form. Anyway I am glad you persisted so it didn't just keep deteriorating in that shed, good on you. I know the way you bring them back to life in no time at all, get to it mate.

Zack I kept quiet when you first posted it, but I think the "expert" was me.. lol. Fabio called me asking an opinion on what I thought his cars were worth. He didn't mention any deal being done already. Just said a friend told him to call me for an "expert" opinion before he lets them go.

If Curtis got a good deal on them, all the power to him. But usually when people ask me for price guides I try to err on the side of caution and suggest they list a little higher to begin with and drop their price to meet the market if required. My intention was not to stand on anyones toes, and I had no intention of buying them for myself for the record.

As most here will know I'm bullish on 240z (S30Z) values, and in particular early HS30's I think are still cheap when compared with the North American market of late. But, that of course is just my humble opinion.

Just looking over Fabio's email again. He also had 2 other cars.

Burgundy colour car = HS30 00103
White car = HS30 00285

Do you know where those cars went Curtis?
