Datsun compe steering wheel

$250 NZD

Eye-balling it, looks like a reproduction wheel to me. Not enough photos to really say though.

MSA sells the reproduction wheels for US $400.  Compared to that, the kiwi one looks a bargain when shipping is added to both.

No, it's the factory option 48400-E4112 leather-covered stock diameter Izumi steering wheel.

I think the part number was 48400-E4112 for the 'open-hole' type (?), and 48400-E4110 for the earlier - and rarer - 'closed-hole' type.

It's in the earliest Japanese market factory parts lists.

Interesting, I thought someone had stitched a wooden wheel (custom leather job) didn't realise it was a factory option. I thought it looked quite nice and I actually like the bigger diameter wheel.

They've always fetched decent money, although that's getting up there.

Tempting to drag mine down out of the shed roof and cash in........

NOS D-cap $500 USD. Still in box.

Quote

Datsun 240Z D Hub Cap NOS.
Stored in garage for over 40 years. The original owner bought for their 240Z in the 70’s and it was the wrong version. It is believed to be the original box, but may be the packaging from the hub cap that was installed on the car in the 70’s. Original box is ripped from being stored over the years, but hub cap is mint.
