Yes, 280 Z

Fuel injected, with a heck f a lot of development work to get it running right, so it doesnt burn out pistons!

 

Only logbooked right hand drive one, and only ever to be!

 

Yes, at the very pointy end of any Historic field!

She's also very good at rear of grid starts, and still gets up towards the front.

Michael, i have a U20 blck only, and various internal head and other bits, not enough to put a short blck together though!

Hendo does have one or two U motors but I think he wants to hang onto them.

Richo, i'll be sure to introduce him to this forum, and the prior posts about elegibility of parts etc.

He is a long time racer of Alfas, and i recall his Alfa, often, as I motored past him, numerous times.

 

He has owned Z's, many years back, and is looking forward to racing a good one!

 

I have no idea, at this stage, if he plans to re-colour it, in order to present it as his "new" car.

We'll find out soon enough, first intended meet is the EC Retro Speed Festival, always a full field of close Group S cars there.
