To keep the Cars For Sale (3rd Party Sites) Ebay, Carsales etc.. thread separate to the global market I've created this new thread.

To kick things off an interesting car for sale is this 280z.

http://www.datsunclassifieds.com/autos/datsun/280z/never-licensed-1976-280-z-1976-100-000.00-4333.html

Asking 100K - never registered car.

NEVER LICENSED 1976 280 Z, 1976, $ 100,000.00

80 Z car bought from dealer 1976 and has never been licensed. Driven 36 miles and then parked for, Yes 38 years and still smells new. 354 total miles. Not sure what to ask for this car taking all offers. Feel free to call me at your convenience, thank you for your interest. Dean 909-257-6551

Second entry into the most epic thread on this site  8).. In my opinion anyway.

Super clean looking early S30z in the US. Comes with it's own website.

A few dings and scrapes but otherwise a very clean looking little car.

Starting at 10K with reserve.

My guess is that bidding will hit $26K USD and reserve not met.

That's about what I guessed it would fetch if I recall correctly? Hmm maybe I have a career in car valuation?

The 432Z that arrived here mid 2014, has now been road registered.

Cant upload pics,,, as file size is too big,,,, again,,,, on ipad, cant reduce, on computer, dont know how,, cbf'd trying, drives me nuts.

Partly to blame is the forum software, but also restriction on space for the web-server. Remember hosting costs mostly come out of my pocket. With a few generation donations from time to time.

It's super easy jason!

Bring up picture on screen

Press home bottom and power button that makes a screen shot in your photo album and the picture is smaller.

Then use that picture to upload.

Done

These seem to have gone up in value, a couple of years ago $50K AUD was about the money it would take to get 1, now they seem to have almost doubled. Not sure if that is market rate though?

Gav,

I was discussing this with some of my fellow Club S30 members in Japan in January. Also with Ando san of T.A. Auto.

Prices (asking, and selling) for the homologation specials are rising faster and higher than those of the common-or-garden variety. Condition and integrity (there's a few 'genuine' fakes to deal with...) is still king, but generally speaking the prices of good examples of factory HS30-H models are climbing fast.

In Chiba I saw an HS30-H that had just been restored, and was told by the restorer that the owner had turned down several offers on it after it emerged from resto and had been featured in Nostalgic Hero magazine. The highest offer he turned down was "over 15 million JPY". Gossip is that the resto itself cost more than 5 million.

Thanks Alan, but that's utterly depressing. Always wanted a genuine Fairlady 240ZG and now it's just a bit more out of reach..I guess I should be happy to have 2 S30z's. It's nice to see their values go up and the cars finally getting recognised for what they are but there is a downside to interest in the marque also.

Be careful what you wish for I guess.

Up for sale is this beautiful 1 owner scarab Z car which I am selling for a friend who does not like PC. This car is a one of a kind car built buy Mr Morrow back in 1980 who owned Scarab Co. It only has 14k since 1980 which is when the conversion was done. One of the most solid Japanese cars I have driven. Standard features: Balanced, blueprinted Chevy 350 (325hp) forged steel crank, rods, pistons, specially crossflow radiator, HP water pump, 22qrt system, borg warner t-10 4 spd trans, custom single exhaust with headers, AC that turns free and clicks in needs to be recharged. Koni adj. shocks Teflon comp. strut bushings, HP rack & pinion mounts, springs by scarab. Optional R200 rear end 315 gears. Comp sway bar & 4-piston caliper brakes. Cruise control, camagnola wheels. Paint was stripped off in 2005 and repainted with GM Galaxy Silver Metalic and is in perfect cond. This car was not driven in the winter and always garaged and when it was outside it was covered. There is absolute no rust in this. New  Indy tires in 2005 with no miles on them. This conversion cost $14K in 1980, when he did this it had 110,000 miles and only has 124,600 right now. Please do not bid on this car if you can not pay for it, do not waste my nor yours. If any questions at all please call me and I will do the best I can to answer any questions. 509-630-7290 This auction does not include shipping but I will help if I can.

The owner is selling this car because he is getting to old and he thinks it needs to be driven more. As you can see in the pics the emblems are not on the car, they were taken off when it had the new paint and the owner liked it looking like a regular 240Z especially without the spoiler and wing. Good luck biddint and whoever buys this car will be happy.
