mikedoeslife
I know this isn't strictly classic JDM, or Datsun related, but anyway... Our friends at Aussie JDM news site 7Tune.com have the news. http://www.7tune.com/?p=63 A 2+2 front engine, rear wheel drive sports car is planned to be the sprititual successor to the AE86 Toyota Sprinter Trueno/Carolla Levin, unbelievably at a price cheaper than the discontinued Toyota MR-S? Click the link for more info, and some artist concepts. Zeddophile
That is pretty cool - don't like the front much, but do like the back, and sounds like they're really keeping it close to the ingredients that made the AE86 so much (unexpected) fun... sco_aus
Yeh, sweet, got a couple of mates with 86s, they cant wait to see what it can do. I see this as being the best market to go for right now in performance, with drifting becoming such a popular motorsport now, small rear wheel drives with power are the way to go. And there doesnt seem to be many on the market at the moment.

modular9
looks a little like the celica scrunched up from behind with a toyota paseo front end. Bit of a mish mash. reserve judgement till i see it in the flesh though. Thanks for the link . I saw a shortwheelbase 350z story on there.
