Rust Repairs & Fabrication - Canberra

Gents,

Although I am abroad for the next seven months or so, my Datsun 240Z has some cancer I need to get rid of sooner rather than later. The vehicle is completely stripped aside from the donk, the floors need replacing (I have new ones) and a section of the firewall needs replacing, as well as a section of the rear deck. All in all, not too bad, but would like to get it fixed ASAP so I can come home and work on other parts of it.

If anyone knows of a suitable fabricator in the ACT Area please let me know. Will also be doing some chasis strengthening, and will pay good coin for the work to be done.

Cheers.

Well there are a couple of options:

Dingo on the forum is very handy with his metal work.

You would have to ask, but Rhino240z has done some awesome work, but don't know if he would do others cars.

And if you want the guy who does Hotrods and stuff, then Mark Oliver Panel beater in Queanbeyan is expensive, but you get what you pay for, he really does do brilliant work.

I can't think of anyone else who stands out above the rest then.

Chris - Ill be back in April...ish.

Well the vehicle will be getting a full respray, just want to take ahold of this rust before it turns the car into a POS.

Turns out the firewall rust on the passenger side dosent go into the engine bay, goes into the wheel well.
