My brother was told there was a new Watanabe style wheel (not the RB-W) coming out soon that also accommodates for big brake setups and he was wondering if these are still coming?

Those RK-R's look the business, much closer in appearance to R type wats than the RB's.

Just noticed Rota's Shakotan, dead ringers for Hayashi's. Seems Rota is remaking all the classics.

i didnt think 9.5 wide wheels would fit under the standard guards.

how wide do you have to go before flairs are needed?

In the USA I notice they have 17x9.5-10 for the rota rk-r.

Anyone know if we can get the -10 or lower??

Here's my rota question:

Why are the RBX's made in 17"? The most popular Zed watanabe set up under flares is 9.0" front 9.5"rear, but 16" diameter. If they were 16" instead I would have bought a set.

yeah, makes sense... I guess... it's not impossible to find 16" tires though. And everyone knows that zed's and watanabe's are like cookies and cream so if you gonna rip them off you might as well do it properly.

Hi there

I was looking at getting rota rbx 17 x 9-13 front and 9.5-19 rear

What is the backspace on them and will they fit understock suspention

And will they fit under guards at all or have to go flares

Thanks steve

Yes they fit with stock suspension. I think backspace is 4.75"?? Could be wrong..

Flares are needed for these wheels. Although I have seen a 9" on the back with stock guards, but 9.5 no chance!
