By the looks of things it was shot with a very wide angle, like an 11-16 or 14-24. The colour bubbles you see are called lens flare. They are a result to lens bouncing around and refracting to it's separate colours inside the lens, which is why there is one of each colour of the rainbow. As far as actually taking the shot goes, get a wide angle, shoot a fairly small aperture, (ƒ8-11 would be a sweet spot for most lenses, any more and you start to loose image quality, any less and you loose depth of field), and a tripod is a must, if for nothing else than to let you frame the shot perfectly, over and over if you have to muck about with settings. Honestly, the main thing about a photo is the lighting since your camera is just a light capturing device. Even a mobile phone camera can take a descent photo if you have the right lighting. Time of day or location is key. Ideally shoot in the morning or late afternoon. Most people want a nice blue sky outside when shooting but a nice overcast day creates really nice lighting and you can shoot at pretty much anytime of the day. These photos where just taken quickly when rev was leaving the workshop held over the weekend so we didn't have many options for lighting/location etc. but I think it turned out alright considering. Now the most important thing... PHOTOSHOP. Nearly every professional photo is edited in someway in photoshop these days. It could be the basics like adjusting the brightness/contrast/exposure of an image and colour tweaking to some more complex things like removing distracting objects, adding in skys etc. But Photoshop can't make a bad image into a good one, you just use it to enhance your images, so you need a good base to start from anyway. I happy to teach people photoshop or do a photoshoot or any photoshopping work for pocket money, just send me a msg Anyway, back on topic... I don't see how you can put all your love and attention to detail into a car and let it go soon after it's finish. Each to there own. Good luck with the sale. Hopefully a local enthusiast will buy it. Come on all you talkers who want a Zed. Now you have no excuse. I can tell you this car will go for less money than it cost to build if you included every hour of Rev and his son's time put in to the build at a basic hourly rate. I am from Queensland but am down in Melbourne for business over the weekend of 10th-12 September. I am a Zed fan from way back & am fortunate enough to drive a 370Z currently. My Dad use to have a 260 back in his prime & regularly fantasises about getting another. We are looking at going halves on one to enjoy. Fingers crossed yours is still around . Regards, Scott.
