I was heading out to Mallala to set up and test the new brakes etc. I was invited to a club day which was great as i got to take the missus out on the track. Scream scream scream ,pissing myself laughing at her , Oh well no more action for me. My sponsor (Michael from Mobile Autocare - free plug) is also running his beautiful red 240 again this year after missing last year's event. Mount Alma is pretty spectator friendly although you do need to walk a fair bit if you want to get a view from up the hill. With Classic Adelaide no longer around, we have to get our fix elsewhere....... Actually, Classic Adelaide is back this year as Classic Targa Adelaide in September - check out the website here http://www.classictargaadelaide.com.au/adelaide/adelaide_home.html And don't forget the Adelaide Hills Tarmac Rally in May - run by the Southern Districts Car Club who run Mount Alma, excellent event and also spectator friendly. bluerat Posted June 18, 2011 Share Posted June 18, 2011 Hey Roger, I was there with Peter Hall and Tim Knappstein, what a bugger I would of loved a chat!! It was a suprise birthday gift from my wife, I didn't know anything about it until 1 hour before the plane left. Great weekend, I got a lot out of it and Pete's got me fired up!!. I also saw a tough light metallic blue Zed with silver(?) stripes over the bonnet pull out onto South road as I was heading to the plane Sunday arvo. Anyone's on here?
