Just a cruise up the highway at this stage, we can deviate that course for the way back depending upon how we feel but at this stage we are keeping it simple.

Carseldine Caltex is on Gympie road at Carseldine, (north brisbane) so if you can find Gympie road its easy to get to.

Greg, Steve, Sushi, Sushi's mate, Alan, possibly Mike and possibly Lynton. so far

Greg and I have decided on an 8:30 start at the Carseldine Caltex, so we can make sure everyone is there, gassed up and have a few minutes to discuss our route beforehand.

Also, Greg pointed out that a highway drive might be a little plain, so if anyone knows of any good windy roads in this area please let us know. Has anyone taken the landsborough exit to drive through Edlo up to Woombye and across to Maroochy? Greg said it has potential but he's never done the drive himself.

Anyway, thats the purpose of getting to the servo at 8:30, to make final decisions on the route.

Comments / ideas are welcome

friend from the coast says coolum yandina road would be sweet

"drive to nambour, get on the bruce and take the yandina exit and your on it. its sweet, winding rural road"

for the way home from mudjimba go along david low way and onto bli bli road. its the easiest way to get back to the highway and its a pretty nice drive, only 80kph but not a bad road. its not like its a 30min windy road or anything but its the way i always head back from there anyways

Wow great pics!  I love the BRE colour scheme.  I thought surly_z had taken a roadtrip up to brisbane for a second there, but the wheels are different.  ;D    The wheels on the ex-flamingo car look like they've been nicked from an old lambo!  8)  All the cars look fantastic and it looks like you guys had a great time!

Always good to see a group of zeds! That last pic of Nigel's old 240; seems like last week I helped him install the electronic dizzy!

Yeah kinda wish I bought that Z. It looks amazing in that yellow.

Wanna buy em?  ;D

I'm going to be buying a newer set of wheels soon, so I've got to get rid of these puppies. They are Cheviots but that's about all I know  ???

Cheers for the comments everyone,

Steve

Drop me a line next time you go for a run. Let my membership lapse and haven't gotten round to renewal so i don't get to drive it much! Always looking for an opportunity to take my zed for a spin (without the girlfriend). Cheers!

photoshopping the humans out. AS much as I like the guys from here I rather like their cars more!  :P

I think i made a photoshop action called " make it look good " I hit ctrl + F1 and it does all the work for me.

Course CS4 will do it all for us from now on.  :-*
