Ponyo240z
Great progress and love the shed. How did you punch the holes in the storage bin area? Some sort of press? How thick is the metal you have used? cheers

datmoo
I've been working on my 1600's so haven't made a lot of progress on the Z but here's a few things I've done. S13 booster, 15/16th master: Patch for the notch taken out of the rail by the previous owner: Then I had another right place at the right time moment. I found a couple of old school lockers on stalkbook and when I went to pick them up the lady was clearing out her dad's garage. I resisted the urge to look at any other stuff she had as I already have enough crap in my shed. Anyway, she had to go inside to get me some change for the lockers so I couldn't resist asking if I could have a quick look around. I go to the first box on the ground and here is a washer bottle with "Kanto Seiki" on it. Being new to the Z game I thought it may be Datsun but could be from any Jap car. I asked if her dad ever had a Datsun to which she said no and there were no other Jap parts in the Garage. So I get in the car and get on the googles for "Kanto Seiki washer bottle" and I'm like, you have got to be kidding me. On the way home I'm thinking there might be a washer bottle in the bulk parts lot I got and sure enough.... So then I'm like, ok, so which is the 240 one? I try to fit the big one I already had but with the S13 booster, no good. Small one I just found, sweeet! GongZ

datmoo
So I picked this up the other week. Not a lot left but a few usable parts. Lot's of rust but really nice, un-butchered transmission tunnel (unlike mine). I'm stripping it at the moment and then cutting the rest up. Roof is pretty good and if there's any other cuts or parts anyone is interested in, let me know.

Rear valance section upper half (what's left of it). 3. Area around fuel filler. 4. Firewall sections I'll be down in Melbourne in a few weeks.. KatoKid
Not for me, but others may be keen on battery tray/inner guard.
datmoo
Picking the 260 apart. Once I work out what I'll use, I'll put up what I don't need. gav240z
