1973 240Z

Recommended Posts

I have decided that I am not the restoring type, just not enough time, so am selling my 1973 240Z no 10745 matching numbers car. Currently red but is the Avocado Green (113). The car was a driver when I took it off the road to begin the strip down and still has full WA rego (expired). Interior stripped as has most of the chrome etc. It comes with a new carpet kit, new radiator, triple mikuni carbs (not fitted). I have attached photos which show the worst bits being rust in drivers side dogleg, passenger side sill and doors otherwise quite clean. Front right fender has been bogged but I have a replacement panel. Complete car ready for restoring. Once sold I will buy one that has already been done. Asking $19;750- but am open to serious offers as I just want to drive a Zed !!!!!

Hello Metho, and good luck with the sale.

Your photo doesn't show all of the compliance plate, but your build plate shows HS30-10745 and original engine no. L24-084614

The WA Z register lists HS30-10646 (original engine no. L24-082605) as a 2/1972 complianced car

and HS30-10763 (original engine no. L24-085261) as 3/1972.

It is therefore safe to assume that your car would be considered a '72.

Thanks GongZ appreciate the info. I didn’t really research the car, just selling as I bought! Probably better it’s a 72 anyway.

Also didn’t even put in a contact number 0429553373. The car is in Adelaide.
