timtim
Hi Guys Anyone in NSW have this tool which i can borrow my friend just told me its a slide hammer, "if you let the guys know your trying to pull the bolt out from the part which connects the rear strut to the outter LCA they'll know what your talking about"
44014
Good luck. I suggest purchasing a drill press, A range of drills leading up to 22mm and a press. And a hacksaw...
PeterAllen
If you're referring to the Spindle Pin, then I've made one and I'm in Sydney. PM me.
gilltech
Ditto 44014. A slide hammer will only work if the spindles are lightly bonded to the bushes. Anything more and more drastic measures are req'd.
dat2kman
Sometimes you can be very lucky, and the spindle pin puller will work fine. A little bit of heat, ie hand held butane torch, can help a lot!
RLY240
I've also found that swift hammer blows to the body of the upright can help break the bond in the same way you can get a tie rod end out of a steering knuckle. Still needs a press or puller though. Roger
