Sale price is negotiable as I am unsure of its fair value - genuine offers are welcome.

 

I would prefer to sell to a fellow enthusiast.

 

Numbers matching car that has little or no rust (visible) but has obviously had some "average" body work a very long long time ago.

 

A reasonably original car that I have had for the last 18 months and have progressively worked on with a view to club reg.

 

Runs and drives great, starts well - no smoke or rattles (valve clearances recently done) but could do with a going over and tune (SU carbs are not my thing) and still has original cap & leads etc.

 

Originally found in a local shed where it had been for the last 10+ years.

 

Car was retired just after a gearbox rebuild (with new clutch) as it had a bad timing case oil leak. (now fixed)

 

I have resurrected the car with minimal effort.

 

New Clutch Master & Slave Cylinders. New Brake Master. New Battery.

 

Rebuild of original radiator.

 

Rebuild of original genuine starter and alternator.

 

4 x new tyres. Replacement H4 headlights

 

All fluids changed - new cooling system hoses, water pump and thermostat housings etc

 

All electrics work except the clock (no surprise).

 

Repaired all vent controls and vacum operated demist controls (A/C evap still in dash but everything else gone)

 

Interior mostly complete except for carpets and kick panels (with no nasty speaker holes in doors - but some in rear quarter trims)

 

Seat are excellent with no tears - dash pad is a basket case.

 

Needs suspension rubbers for RWC along with some other small items but in reality is probably pretty close.

 

Comes with a swag of spares and a factory workshop manual. Spare Genuine Steering Wheel (240z?) and Centre Button

 

Just don't have the space to keep a project due to business expansion.

I originally read the post regarding the rules to find out about posting pictures, but did not pay enough regard to the full detail about giving an exact price.

 

Given that I had seen ads about "expressions of interest" I thought being negotiable would be OK.

 

Anyway, not wanting to confuse - I am happy to consider offer around $8000

 

There has been a lot of interest and thanks for to those members that have called for more details and also given opinion as to value.

 

This car is for sale, More than happy for anyone to come and check it over, as I think it will not disappoint.
