drifta1600 Posted December 17, 2016 Share Posted December 17, 2016 Hi every one. Im back with another 240z. This one is a beauty! Minimal rust every were except a bit in the floor. Its been inna shed for close to 20 years under a big old tarp. It got pulled out 10 years ago and pulled apart then stored again because of the previous owners wife haveing a bad car accident. Any ways.. im the lucky one that the guy decided to reluctantly sell it too. Ill keep you all updated as we go. No distortion as the lip was double skinned and tacked on first. Then the top skin was tacked on at random points to minimize the heat. And yes.. and weld/patch work need a layer of filler... ideally id buy a brand new hatch.. but cant find them. Also would buy new doors and new gaurds.. but cant find them/get them in Australia unfortunately. In trying to organised heaps for parts from the usa in container.
