Dionysus
Just wondering if anyone has had an issue with the rear seat latch in a 2+2?? One side of mine doesn't appear to lock in place so before I remove them and take a look it would be nice to get a heads up if someone has gone through the same issue. If it's stuffed i'm sure I could fix or retrofit something similar. Thanks John
Moderators PB260Z Posted February 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 16, 2016 Hi John I also have a problem with mine not locking in. I do find that if I move both levers at the same time it works fine. Cheers PB

Moderators PB260Z Posted February 16, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 16, 2016 Hi, Not certain, but I think there is linkage that over time wears and results in the problem. will check tonight. Cheers PB
Dionysus
Hi, Not certain, but I think there is linkage that over time wears and results in the problem. will check tonight. Cheers PB Hmmm I tried both together and it didn't make a difference.. When I move the lever it feels like there is little movement in latch.. Moderators PB260Z Posted February 23, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 23, 2016 Mine is fiddly and needs to be jiggled in order to lock in. If you are at the drive day we can have a look at then. Cheers PB

Scoota G
The catch for this mechanism has packers under it to get it at the right height to function correctly. Try adding or removing packers, from memory i have a bunch of packers from the 2 X 2+2's i parted out.

Mine doesn't Cheers
Scoota G
Hi Mark So should they latch automatically when you throw the seat back up ? Mine doesn't Cheers They should mate yes. It's possible that the hinge mount has come loose and that's why it's not lining up. It's just like a door catch, you might have to spend some time with it to get it right. Moderators PB260Z Posted February 27, 2016 Moderators Share Posted February 27, 2016 Thanks mate - Thought as much, sounds a bit fiddly I will sort it one day. Not on the top of the priority list, todays flat battery is No.1 priority.
