Administrators gav240z Posted April 24, 2018 Author Administrators Share Posted April 24, 2018 Probably have to say a few hail mary's after this, but I kind of like the Ferrari style grille on this G-nose S30Z. https://www.ebay.com/itm/1977-Datsun-Z-Series-208Z/382439764002 1977 Datsun 280Z V8 350ci V8 & Tremec 5-Speed manual transmission Rare Japanese-spec 280Z “G” body kit Sliding sunroof 4 wheel disc brakes Fly Yellow exterior with a black interior Autometer gauges – speedometer, tachometer, oil pressure, temperature, and voltage Wooden Nardi steering wheel New Corbeau seats and 4-point racing harnesses Are you a fan of both Japanese and American cars? If so, MotoeXotica Classic Cars has the perfect car for you – a 1977 Datsun 280Z with a 350ci V8 under the hood, that we are selling for a local client of ours! On the outside, this Datsun features a dazzling Fly Yellow paint job, which has very few imperfections as well as a very rare Japanese-spec “G” body kit, which features a different front bumper, grille, and fender flares from the normal 280Z, which have been painted to match the rest of the exterior, as well as headlight covers. And speaking of the lights, the headlights, taillights, and marker lights are haze and crack free. This 280Z has also had aftermarket louvers installed to the rear windows. Also featured is a functional sliding sunroof and lip spoiler in the back. The two-piece wheels and Continental tires, 225/45R17 in the front and 245/40R17 in the rear, complete the look. Inside, it only gets better. Modifications include: wooden Nardi steering wheel, Corbeau seats and 4-point harnesses for both seats, Autometer gauges, and a Pioneer radio. All of it works, although the fuel gauge fluctuates some. The dashboard is in good shape, as is the carpet. Under the reverse-opening hood, and you’ll find a professionally installed 350CI ZZZ crate motor with a Tremec 5-speed manual transmission behind it. It has a Holley 4bbl carburetor and coated headers connected to a stainless exhaust to give it even more power! The suspension has been updated as well with power disc brakes at all 4 corners. It also features two batteries, one in the engine bay and another spare under the hatch. This car is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri. Current mileage on the odometer shows 6,879 miles, which is believed to be since the build. It is sold as is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT AND DRIVE!!! PZG302
Yeah, nah. I don't see the Nick Masons of the world worrying about putting miles on their 250GTO's and GT40's on the race track in proper door to door racing throughout Europe, where the racing is proper hard and not always gentlemanly, and how that affects the values of their exotics. The right car will increase in value whether you use or not. The sale prices of the d'Alberto auction I think were hyped up due to the publicity generated before the auction and the very fresh memory of Holden closing down manufacturing here. The only drawback with investing in classic cars, particularly as SMSF, is the rules regarding them. If invested through a SMSF you can't use it yourself. there are many hoops to jump through and in a lot of ways it's not worth the hassle. If you want to spend the money on a fun car, then do it, don't worry about the value. The right car will retain value or increase if you guess right. Hell even my Chugger will make me money one day even though I have sunk way too much money into it. gav240z

Highly sough after and collectible.. vehicle was torn down for restoration many years ago and I have finally decided that I will not be able to prioritize this project. Been a California/Nevada car. Ready for a complete restoration and done correctly it is an extremely valuable classic. This lot deal comes with another 1972 240z and also a 280z. All three cars have titles. These are all project cars. Here's a list of what parts are included in this deal: 1. Various door shells. (I counted 8 doors) 2. Fenders - 8 3. Cowl vent panels. (About 6) 4. 5 engines 5. Boxes of misc parts. I will not part out any of this bundle. I will consider the best offer over $20,000. This an ideal buy for a Datsun enthusiast or a JDM shop.
