aircobra
Not sure if I am posting in the right section, but trying to get a replacement pressure plate and have searched the forums throwout sleeve bearing -57 clutch plate - 55 flywheel clutch face - 229 (should be 225) it doesn't make sense, the tall plate goes with the short bearing? Retro Z
There are 2 sizes of clutches 225mm or 240mm. And there is like 6 different heights of throwout collars available. Yes a tall pressure plate goes with a short collar, or vice-versa. You need 92mm 'overall height' of the pressure plate+collar/bearing. Or mesaure from the flywheel surface to the surface the clutch forks ride on the collar (ears).
aircobra
looks like some people do, but i should have been clearer these are measurements in mm of the various clutch components 1. clutch surface diameter measured at the flywheel 2. other measured laying the component flat on the workbench and measuring the overall height. in the case of the plate, its to the "fingers", in the case of the "sleeve", its to the top of the bearing
