Ok Guys, im getting married on Saturday May 2nd, and id love if possible to have a convoy of zeds escorting me to the church, and if you guys are up for it, some photo shoots afterwards.

I am willing to give fuel money, or even maybe some cash money for anyone willing to help me out, Name your price and i'll see if i can accomodate.

Church is in Mona Vale, and church ceremony is at 12:30, so potentially would be a great location for a zed meet/cruise for you guys anyway, afterwards you could cruise to palm beach for a BBQ?

The reception is in Akuna Bay in Terry hills, so a 10-15min drive from the church through the national park, its a MAAADD driving road, note, maybe a $11 fee to enter national park is needed which i'd pay for anyone willing to help out.

We are hopefully going to have photos at West Head Lookout, overlooking pittwater and palm beach, which is maybe 15 minutes out of the way.

If you can take a groomsman, great, if not, no big deal.

We would meet up at checkers resort in mona vale, a 5 minute drive from the church, and the convoy would go from there to the church.... probably the most important part...

If you are keen let me know in here or by PM

Cheers Guys

Rudolf.

OK - sounds like a good absolute target for me to have my car sorted and registered !!  And the sort of commitment that will motivate me to get it done !

Saturday 2nd of May bro! would be good to have an extra zed there! so far we have Mike and thats it! Too bad there is literally no one with a working 2+2 at the moment, struggling to find a car for my mrs and her father to arrive in, if it was just her id say your car would be perfect (she loves white!)

I literally know about 5 people with street machine cover worthy cars... one has a VL, doesn't want to drive it that far, another one folded the bonnet over his roof last month in his 800hp ford Capri, everything's either getting built or broken!

might settle for a XY GT i found through a friend of a friend of a friend...... meh! as long as i have a few zeds that's good with me!

Just hire a nice Caprice or something for the wifey mate... No woman would enjoy getting into and out the back of a datsun sports car on their wedding day... Her dress will absorb the 70's datsun smell!!!!

all good Andy, don't worry karma has not been friendly to me, forecast says its a chance to rain... that on top of a few major cock ups Jackie and I are dealing with....

Hope the boys aren't made of sugar and bail.... that will royally ruin the day!

Rain on your wedding day is meant to mean a long and happy marriage.  Don't worry about any cock ups - it's all about you  guys celebrating and I'm sure you'll love the celebration no matter what mother nature does!

Congrats Rudi.

Hope you had a fantastic day yesterday. As Andy said rain on your wedding day is meant to be lucky. When my parents got married it was the wettest Perth day for years, it was so wet and stormy that the photos look like it was night time. That was over 50 years ago and they seem happy enough.

Cheers

Thanks to everyone for the kind words, the day was spectacular, i was blubering like a little girly man when my wife was walking down the isle, in turn me crying made everyone else cry!

A MAHOOSIVE thanks to both  Mike and David, you guys were troopers! i needed them there at 8am and they were there, and stuck through it until 4:30pm, honestly you guys helped to make the day perfect!

The weather was actually ok, It rained really heavy on the drive up from my place, it stopped once we reached the hotel at 8am, and stayed dry with the odd sprinkle here and there until we all reached the church.

Then during the ceremony and Mass it poured, then stopped enough for us to have some good bridal party photo shoots, and only started hammering down again once we were at the reception. Luck was on our side!!

FUNNY story.... we were doing a little video skit, where mikes car would be "broken down" on the side of the road, and id rock up with my 'boys' and save the day, so we had the coil unplugged, and had it cranking and cranking and no start, when i "fixed" the car, boy was she laboring to crank over, flat battery, it literally just started, awesome! then the video guy was like "ok switch it off one more time and re start so we can get it from another angle!"

before i could say no, the car was off... and guess what, we really did have a break down as the battery was flat! we had a laugh about it but got some cool shots of the groomsman having to push start mikes car to get it running again!

Awesome day! Only down side was nearly writing off my car on the way back to the hotel, going through the national park, we come around a blind corner at about 50km/h to see this:

ill get photos up as soon as i get them, might be a few weeks, and the video whenever thats done, but that might be months.
