G
I'm currently rebuilding my rear end with new nolathane. The inner part of the rear control arm appears to need a metal bush which slides over before the nolathane bush goes on. Is this correct? I just don't understand why there's metal on metal contact if so... Cheers

PeterAllen
I'm not 100% sure on this but when you tighten the bolt does it not fix the brass bush in position and prevent rotation?
Riceburner
Yep that's correct. The arm is meant to pivot within the sleeve. I just applied a healthy amount of wheel bearing grease to the control arm before fitting the new bush. I still use OEM ones as I read the urethane can cause binding. CroS13
Stewart Willkins sourced mine, they are Whiteline product, similar to above but are a one piece instead of two piece.Rudi
