Riceburner
Does anyone know the sizes of the nuts and bolts used on the half shafts? Also after the size of the diff cover bolts too? I don't have access to my car at the moment. Thanks, Gareth.
d3c0y
For the half shafts I have a brand new set in a packet from Nissan. They are very high grade and are not threaded all the way down the shaft as i'm sure you know. You can still buy them new from Nissan as i got mine a couple of months back. Moderators Zedman240® Posted October 12, 2014 Moderators Share Posted October 12, 2014 Half shaft bolts are M8 but have a large shoulder. I wouldn't use standard bolts and as Jake says get them new from Nissan or I may have some second handies.
d3c0y
You can have my second handies if you want too.
Riceburner
Mine are the originals so I thought I'd change to new bolts/nuts/washers when the 4.37 diff and new HD shafts go in. Thanks for the offer, I'll try Nissan.
Riceburner
I found some part numbers... Nissan Hex head half shaft bolts #PN 39628-E4100. Nissan half shaft nuts #PN 39627-N3000 Nissan half shaft spring washers #PN 08915-2401A. * Looks like Datsport carries these, I'll order from them at least I know I'll get the correct parts! Diff cover bolts are M10x1.25 30mm long Subaru R180 diff gasket (has a built in baffle to shield the breather and stop leaks under high load) #PN 38353AA050
