Administrators gav240z Posted February 7, 2015 Administrators Share Posted February 7, 2015 Nice, what are they like to drive compared with the S30z? When I lived in Dublin a Fairlady Roadster was on the market and I considered it but it was priced higher than the RX-7 and I was worried about it rusting in the rain over there so I passed up the option but I do like them. oldmates260z
It is so different than the Zed.....feel even more in touch with road....its a major blast, that's why I had to buy it I am starting to think now that I understand the difference of driving a 2 Seater (260) and a 2+2. My 2+2 feels more like a cruiser where as the 2000 you just nip around (but still likes the open road). The 2 Seater would be more like the 2000 I am guessing. oldmates260z
Have finally fitted the set of original seats in leather. While not as supportive as RX7 seats they look much better and have a better driving position gav240z
Administrators gav240z Posted September 22, 2015 Administrators Share Posted September 22, 2015 So did those rails from Benny do the trick? oldmates260z
oldmates260z
Yes but was not as easy as I thought. Drivers side car hole centres were 330mm and the seat was 320. Passenger side front car was 320 and 315 rear and the seat was 320. Had to slot most of the holes.

oldmates260z
Well thanks Gav for passing on the contact from the lady that I bought me Zed from some 10 years ago. She had been looking for a while to try and find it and was very happy to see it was still well cared for..... She is sending me photos of her restoration work, cannot wait.
