Kirby
Hey Guys, Still hunting for a few more interested parties to complete the RHD cut-off. If you need any more convincing have a look at this: An upgraded projector housing with a H4 globe: The V2 Projector with HID (this is a Left-Hand cut-off ours will be the opposite pattern): The bi-xenon/shutter for high-beam turned off: The unit itself (shown with optional LED daytime light/halo): Halo Illumination: The deal for the group buy + shipping is easily half the price of what you would pay normally for the kit. Standard pricing: $650 USD + ~$80USD Shipping Group Buy: Currently $385 USD + ~$50USD Shipping (Spilt freight to Aus, then dived up and shipped over Aus). Come-on guys! Don't pass it up! Moderators Zedman240® Posted March 15, 2014 Moderators Share Posted March 15, 2014 Any idea on what base of globe is on the housing? D2S? Are the inserts available on their own? Already have globes and ballasts.

Best ask Ben on HybridZ, I know you can order them without HID globes. just so you have the projector housing and run H4's etc. It is $100 cheaper again then. bens1088
Hey guys! Sorry I'm not on this forum very often. If I don't reply back quickly, please shoot me a quick email at ben@dapperlighting.com. I NEED to finalize the RHDs by the 3/23 at the latest! These are custom orders and need more time than the rest of the units. We need at least 5 orders to make this happen. We also need to decide who the order will be shipped to and that everyone consents to that person accepting their order. Once we ship the units out, we can't be liable for what happens to them after they arrive in AU. We have no problem shipping direct but the cost will run about $75-85 with insurance. Here are the responses and the group buy list for RHD: 1. Kirby260 Not Paid (Halo/Chrome) 5000K 55W HIDs Shipped to AU w/Agno (RHD) 2. Agno Not Paid (No Halo/ Chrome) 5000K 55W HIDs- Shipped to AU (RHD) 3. Candy33 Not Paid (No Halo/ Chrome) 5000K 55W HIDs- Shipped to AU w/Agno (RHD) 4. OZ001 Not Paid (No Halo/ Black) Shipped to AU w/Agno (RHD) ben, im after 2 sets, but do you have the back refelctors in black rather than mirror finish? also hybridZ site is down so i cant see what is in the kit, as i dont need the HID kit with the headlights Did you want to add a second set? Awesome, can put me down for 1 set of these, no need for bulbs or HID's required Just a heads up, this is our V1 kit. The V2 kit will look slightly different. Any idea on what base of globe is on the housing? D2S? Are the inserts available on their own? Already have globes and ballasts. These are H1 bases. You will receive all wiring for an HID kit. The only part you would need is a set of H1 bulbs. You can reuse your ballasts as long as they are AMP/Aftermarket plugs. Would be interested in the pair of headlights with LED halo, minus globes as long as they take the H4 globes Did you want to confirm? Like I said before, you will need H1 HID bulbs. You can use your existing ballasts (if you have HIDs). All sets come with halogen bulbs regardless of ordering HIDs or not.

bens1088
On a side note, is anyone familiar with any parts dealers in AU? We'd like to get a distributor/dealer in AU to eliminate the painful shipping charges for you all. Would welcome any suggestions! Thanks, Ben

Kirby
Hi Guys, We need to complete and confirm all of the orders for RHD (which at this point is AusZ only) by Saturday Evening, 22/3, 8PM EST. You then will need to pay Ben at dapper the total amount, If you PM me your confirmed order and your PayPal email address, I will forward this onto Ben once confirmed so he can issue PayPal invoices from Dapper. Please also provide me with Australian shipping address, Name, Email and Mobile Phone Number. I will confer with Agno as to the shipping plans for distribution here in Australia. But essentially: 1) Ben will pack the complete order from Dapper in one box, at a flat rate shipping as to avoid additional duty charges. 2) It will be shipped to one of us here in Australia 3) We will confirm orders/components and repack. 4) You will be invoiced via PP again for local shipping 5) Your order will ship to your nominated address. Cheers, Kirby

zedevan
Was going to add myself to the order but would want them to work with my existing HID bulbs - and since they wont i cant really justify it right now sorry. FWIW 55w HIDs are crazy bright...standard is 35w and 4300k is the standard HID colour temperature. The blue light you see from oncoming cars with HID's is caused by diffraction as it goes through the lens, not from the light itself being blue...5000k isn't so bad though. What bulbs are you using right now? We're using H1 bulbs in these kits. Our manufacturer's 5000K is really about a 4700K. Our 5000K is a pure white with some yellow hue in it. http://imgur.com/bJODEwn
Kirby
Hi All, Just an update. The production of the lights should be finished this week. The container is then being shipped to the US, which should be expected in the next 3-4 weeks. Ben expects our lights to be shipped out to Aus on the 25th of May. Cheers

Kirby
Dapper Lighting has received them at his warehouse in the states. I believe they are doing a test fit in a car to make sure "its all good", then he should ship them out. I will let you know when they are enroute to me. Kirby
Hey Guys, An update from Ben, there has been a delay in getting them imported: Customs got back to us today. They told us that DOT is cracking down on illegal headlights (the cheap crap on ebay) and that they've sent our lights to be inspected by a "DOT specialists team" to confirm legality. We have paperwork that certifies our compliance with DOT/FMVSS so we don't expect any issues. Just going to take time to clear. Let me know if you guys have any specific questions. We're doing everything we can to push this along. Let me know if you have any specific concerns or want more information and I can talk to Ben. Retro Z
Kirby. Just a heads up i increased my order to 2 sets and Ben from dapper said mine could no longer fit in the same box as everyone elses. So i have paid to have my 2 sets sent directly to myself in Melbourne so i no longer require you to receive or onfoward my headlights. Thanks Tai
