Hey Guys,

I have an imminent Australian Departure approaching in the next couple of months and I have been thinking about what to do with my 240z and have decided to sell it. You may have seen it in the builds section which has a pretty detailed desription of the work been carried out.

http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php/topic,12216.0.html

Work Carried out:

Full Engine rebuild- (less than 500km)

50thou over size flat top pistons

Bored and decked block

Reconditioned head -

Larger valves, new guides, new seats and seals fitted

Performance Camtech 702 cam fitted with double valve springs

ARP Rod bolts

New Oil Pump, Water pump, starter and reconditioned Alternator

Rebuilt Carbs

Triple Delortto DLHA 40's Fitted and dyno tuned

Petronix Electronic ignition system fitted

New Alloy Radiator

New heater tap and hoses

Body and Chasis Work-

Full Respray

All Panels removed for paint

Engine bay Stripped and painted

Rust Repairs carried out

New Window seals

Suspension and Steering-

New Bushes Fitted through out

Arms and subframes sand blasted and painted

New Steering Tie rods

Reconditioned front brake Calipers

R200 Diff

The list goes on. The interior remains very much in original condition, some carpets have been replaced but the drivers and passengers mats are in average condition. Dash has cracks.

As you can probably tell alot of work has been carried out on this car and the induction noise the triples produce is incredible and handles well since the suspension bushes have been replaced.

Thanks George, I can take it with me as i've owned it for longer than 12months i don't have to pay GST taking it into the country and i've been looking into shipping costs etc. The main couple of reasons for putting it up for sale is saving for a house deposit (usual story) and there is another race car i want to buy in NZ that i have alot more emotional attachment to. If it doesn't sell I will end up taking it with me to add to the collection back home....

Thank you Jamie for your courtesy, patience and flexibility! It's not easy selling a car interstate.

I picked up the car from the depot yesterday and babied her home. Boy it's great to be back behind the wheel of a Z. As I knew, there is still plenty to do with this car, so will be becoming more active here soon I expect.

Here's a picture after arrivingly safe at home.

P.S. I would be happy to recommend CEVA Logistics to anyone needing transport. It was $780 from Perth to Melbourne (enclosed on train) and car arrived quickly and most importantly without any damage!
