RACQ MOTORFEST 2013

I'm going, are you in the Qld Z Car Club Peter? There is a club meeting on tomorrow night, as per usual I won't be able to make it :S The last email said that a "club gathering point will be emailed out at a later date"

For anyone who hasn't been before, it's a massive show, I've got a couple of pics up here but my camera battery died last year so couldn't show off how many cars were actually there (the large group shots of cars are just the ones from the Japanese section)

To nights ZCCQ meeting has been postponed till May 30th. All above information remains the same . However there is the All Japanese Day at Banyo (hosted by the Seven of Clubs Mazda organisation) which is the big one for Jap cars Queensland on Sunday 9th June . Entries number in their hundreds and is free with a gold coin donation.

I usually go but with the other Mazda owners from the Seven of Clubs, but I won't this year because I will be up at Warwick competing in the HRCC Historic Event.

Why not come up to Warwick on the Saturday and get a feast for your eyes and ears, then go to the Motorfest in Brisbane on the Sunday and get a feast for your eyes.

Cheers

Peter

Shaun, come up to Morgan park insted, it'll much more exciting, theres a number of Z's racing, and Lurch will be playing pit biatch for me!

The Sunday is the better day as the program is packed with feature races.

That racq thing is all full of old fuddy duddies polshing their sideboards anyway!

Sort of agreeing with Jason, if you like static displays then seeing some track action is usually better. Plus the pits at MP are open to close inspection so plenty of static viewing there too. Historic stuff is usually a bit gay, show but no go, but likely more enjoyable for lookers than static only.

Mmmm, group C and A routers, group Q and R sports and racing that are some of the quickest cars in the country, plus the pretend categories is a bit gay? What parallel universe have I landed in.........

Talk about hijacking a thread.

This is about RACQ CANDY SHOWS. I don't have any love for RACQ especially when they treated me and my family so badly on home insurances. But when people  3000 years from now find this thread as the only evidence as electronic communications between people of this time. They will assume and we all know what assume means that we loved highly prized cars . That we showed and raced at the same venue which had homosexual overtures. Not that there is anything wrong with that if that is the kind of thing your into.

Thank you Shannons for coming to my rescue on insurance .
