Yes we will be going the Flagstone Creek Road from Gatton. Have a mate along there that is a wizard with a paint gun. His passion is air brushing so we will be able to see some of his work. May have a few mates meet us there in MGB'S but who cares, they look like Z,s without a roof. LOL. See you all at the take off point on Sunday at 8.30. As I said before If you are late call on o4 one 2 two 3 six 599. And we will let you catch up.  ;D

All welcome to come even if not in a Z as will be good to stop at mates shed at Gatton to see his air brush work and meet up with MGB 's for the run up the mountain not to mention all the great snags to get into. We will going the Flagstone Creek Road so will be a great drive. I have to stay till about 4PM for the presentation to finish so we can travel back together or leave at your own pace.

Sounds like it will be a great run . I hope the MG's can keep up with us. I will mention the run at Thursday's(30th May) ZCCQ general meeting. There may be a couple of Z's that may wish to join us and I think I will have one non Z join us. I also believe that there is a hobby expo on at the show grounds in Toowoomba on the same day.

Thank you Peter for putting on a magnificent day .

The drive up was excellent with the road mostly to ourselves. The stop over to view the restoration work on the bikes was interesting .But I enjoyed the range of metal working machinery your friend owned and the custom parts he is able to make.

"WOW" never tasted sausages like what were on displayed and for all to sample with drinks. Please pass on my thanks for the hospitality your company offered to our group. Great to meet you Matty .I hope you have your Z going soon and a thanks to Allan for stopping to make sure I was OK on the trip home . The rain was was just a little to heavy for semi-slick tyres to handle and I decide to let the shower of rain past before continuing on.  Sorry for upsetting the judging process.

Ditto. It was a great day. I decided to come home via Highfields, esk and Mt Glorious. Unfortunately the rain was too heavy to allow the usual enjoyment of those excellent roads. There was also a new M5 that had come to grief going up the west side of Mt Glorious....What a mess.

Great to see all got home OK and enjoyed the run up the mountain and the stop at Deafy's place and the snags. I left Toowoomba about four pm and came home via the boring range road. Shit it was cold,  sorry about chasing you out of the judging area Aub but hope you enjoyed the plate of snags I rewarded you with. Thanks to you all for coming for the drive. Sorry about the weather, I had no control over that. 8) Now we have to wait for Shaun to post some of his pics .

I like that pic of us at the lookout. Looks like Matty is picking a fight and Aubrey is saying "Calm down, calm down" of course none of this is true. It just looks like there is more going on. :-)

Thanks for organising a good run Peter, the drive was nice and Deafy's place was interesting. I wish I had even a quarter of his skills (or machines) in metal working. It was a shame I couldn't hang around to taste the snags.

Click the link for some pics, also a shame the camera was playing up on the day, I nearly even lost the entire card of images! Still managed to get enough though. Time to upgrade me thinks.

Also the 2nd time using the GoPro and pretty happy with some of the footage. The stuff from the back of the car after Deafy's turned out great. I'll try and edit something together and upload it too :)
