  2. Other company I've heard of is Lumley https://www.lsvcarinsurance.com.au/
  3. If not Shannons then can anyone recommend another insurer?
  4. Based on the reviews on productreview.com.au Shannons seems to no longer be a reputable insurance company - maybe as a result of being taken over by Suncorp? What recent experiences have people had with Shannons? I will be getting quotes from Enthusiast Motor Insurance to compare.

  6. Hi all, I've listed a few Z parts on Ebay, some are NOS. I have plenty of other parts not listed so hit me up with what you need... I might have what ur looking for. https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?item=196129019007&rt=nc&_trksid=p4429486.m3561.l2562&_ssn=nixbikes
  7. 240-260z - Datsun.webloc Muscle Car Parts Australia hatches $895
  8. You'll save time, money and end up with a better result if you just buy a new hatch frame: https://allmusclecarparts.com.au/datsun/240-260z/datsun-240z-hatch.html Or https://resurrectedclassics.com/en-au/collections/sheet-metal/products/1971-1978-datsun-240z-260z-280z-hatch
  9. Yep they do have the vented ones, they also have the inner frame panel as well
  10. Oh nice, do they do an early version (with the hatch vent holes pressed into it)? The only difference with early vs later hatches is those vents, so if they only make that piece you can just cut out the vents and patch them into a non vented 1. I spent ages at my night Tafe panel beating class shaping that lower section, it's actually not flat at the bottom but curved which complicated things for a newbie like me. The problem though is that often the hatch frame is rusted out also, not just the upper skin. I have another early hatch I got off someone else who had started to try and repair it, it was a bit beat up. So an excellent guinea pig for trying to repair with a new skin panel like that.
  11. None spare, I would need to get more made.
  12. I have a set of new extractors down here in Warragul, Rob. PM me.
  13. Hey Gav, any of these lying around that you or someone else may not need?
  14. Hey Jeff, A long shot I know, but do you still have any of the extractors? cheers Rob
  15. I started a Pintrest Page some time ago, and have now amassed several thousand images and links all S30 related. Originally it was for my own purposes (RS30 000797), but now it has become a massive repository of references, ideas and inspirations I'm sharing for all those interested in S30's. I am continuially adding to it ,daily, weekly and or monthly, when ever I find something of interest. I've saved and catagorised images, links and products form all over the world wide web. I hope members will find it inspiratioanal. And, of course if Admins find it inappropriate, by all means delete this post. https://www.pinterest.com.au/stephen_taranto/z-car-resource/
  16. not sure, it could have been GST, the correspondence says duty, taxes and quarantine fees... How'd you go with the doors @C.A.R.? are they everything we've hoped for?
  17. Any chance you would consider posting to Perth mate?
  18. Ok thanks for the advice, much appreciated
  19. The two variations of wiring plugs are completely different designs. My spare switch is the later style, so no good to you. Best you get the correct one so it's plug and play.
  20. I was given the retainer which was great 😊 Do you have the later type hazard switch? I don’t think it would be hard to change connectors. Cheers
  21. I've got the metal retainer plate, in fact a whole mirror. But not the square connector type switch sorry.
  22. Yes I’m chasing the metal retainer plate, I purchased a new 3D printed visor mount, I am also after the early model hazard switch with square connector. Thanks, Darren
  23. The mirror has a metal 3-screw base plate with a black plastic surround trim, are you needing just the metal part or both? I know of two hazard switch 5-pin wiring plug styles, early one being squarish in a beige colour and the later one more rectangular in white. And FWIW my FSM shows the same but with an in-built illumination lamp. What plug style are you wanting to connect to?
  24. Hi all, just wondering if anyone can help, I’m after the early 260Z type with square connector. Cheers, Darren
