Not a fan of two-tone normally but that looks mighty fresh to me...

Is there any way with this engine/fuel combo for this power output to be possible?

No.
Max HP with 44PHH's if you theoretically machine the chokes down to a thin sleeve is barely 300hp.

They just can't through enough air.

I can almost guarantee that engine has never seen a dyno.

Yeah +1 Wildy,  It's a great looking ride.

Are the seppo's really that gullible, 350hp is huge.

But a good dyno operator should be asking....

"and what horsepower would sir like to see today???"

Only real dyno is the stopwatch

There was a great interview with Fred Gibson a few years ago in either Zoom or their sister Imports magazine (can't remember what it was called).  Most memorable quote from that was Fred talking about the FIIK switch on the dash.  After boost restrictions were put in place there appeared this switch, which owed its name to whenever anyone asked the purpose of the switch the response was "f***** if I know"............  Somehow don't think it would get pas the scrutineers these days !

Did I read somewhere that Peter MC was a part of the Nissan racing team at the time ?
