muscle66 Posted June 8, 2007 Share Posted June 8, 2007 I have a 260z,I am coming to the part of the resto' that calls for an engine decision....I want an easy upgrade to the power question. I need to know what engins will bolt up to the original 5spd box...it has a L26 now.... is thier a better one eg;L28 or turbo motor from the same era...eg:zx300....or a v8 kit...as you can see I know nothing about what will go in with ease...HELP !! :-\ Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
sco_aus Posted June 8, 2007 Share Posted June 8, 2007 Many a discussion has been had about this, it depends on how much power you want, how much torque, what the uses are going to be, how much you can afford, do you want to keep it in the Datsun/nissan family or dont really care? there are heaps of different options, but it comes down to what you want, so let us know and we can help. zedevan Posted June 13, 2007 Share Posted June 13, 2007 300zx is a different motor...a stroker is the same, assuming ur talking about a stroker L series. this is quite an expensive option, where abouts do u live? i would love a turbo 280zx motor, but they are expensive in australia...
