Slowly coming together..... I have been waiting on shocks because when I purchased the first lot of konis they sent 2 years ago were the wrong ones but these ones needed packing to fit properly. Also parts from america to show up. So now the front suspension and steering is all back together with new rubbers and boots. Still need to put the sway bar and brake callipers.

Wheels are a close fit only mm to the spring perch.

The rear suspension i will tackle tomorrow.

Well done, looks pretty damn tidy.

makes me want to pack up all this uni work crap and go work on the zed, though freezing rain and wind is working to the advantage of my homework too

Hey Guys,
Finally bit the bullet and decided to get my dash reskinned. Very happy with the end result!
Hopefully now its the motivation I need to get it back into the car and get the interior finished  :D

Well its been a while, I now have a deadline, I want to be driving it in June... hopefully

Today I stripped the paint from the stainless trims and polished them up. came up better than I thought.

Hopefully put the doors and quarter windows back together tomorrow.

Long time between updates, been poking along with it. Its getting closer but still a long way to go but I guess Im into the final stages. New hood lining and trim pieces in, started putting doors together, changed from linkage to throttle cable, most wiring has been checked and fixed. So not far from being able to start it , just need to sort fuel lines out and battery and brakes will need to be rebuilt. Front rear windows will be installed this week. Put the rest of the interior back together. Bolt bumpers on. Nearly there!!!

Got a few things ticked off the list in last 2 weeks, dash is in, hopefully the last time. Front and rear glass has been installed and starting to look more like a completed car! So I was able to give her a first wash!

Today I went through and tig welded up all the screw holes the previous owner thought was a good idea! Not sure if it was a stereo install but why did he need so many screws!! Painted the floor just to tidy it up a bit even though most of it will be covered, couldn't bring myself to paint the toolbox lids felt like I needed to leave something original.

Dam there were a lot of holes to weld up.
Looks like a shotgun went off inside.
Beautiful work.
I'm looking for someone who can put old glass back in without breaking it.
PM me if you can recommend a glass fitter.
