Bruce Posted October 31, 2006 Share Posted October 31, 2006 I had a huge vibration from the tailshaft/ rear of Z when I was travelling at more then 100 km/hr. Had the uni's replaced in the half shafts and tailshaft and had the tailshaft balanced. All the work was done by Jeff Lagerwey Tailshafts (03) 9758 4015 73 Bursaria Ave FERNTREE GULLY VIC 3156 Dropped it off yesterday, got it back midday today. Very reasonably priced, thoroughly recommended fitted it up tonight, went for drive, vibration is gone (and a lot quieter) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's fairly rare for the halfshafts to give balance problems, particularly as they only spin at a fraction of the speed of the tailshaft.
