Datsun rip off of the Austin 7 first manufactured 1933, might have been called a Datsun Type 11 or 12 with 750cc?

Its a 1938 model 17

Ok, how about something a little bit off the beaten path? It's one of the JDM versions... But which one?

Looks like a bluebird 4wd turbo SSS pilerless sedan we got a few as JDM grey imports. Can't recall the chassis code but when I am not on the mobile will check and update ;)

UPDATE: RNU12 is the code for the SSS-R 4WD Hi-Cas Turbo Bluebird in the pic above.

Ah, very good, we find Bluebirds occasionally over here, but pretty rare to find one in decent condition.  :(

However, the one in the pic isn't a 4wd version . I think that these were made when they were trying to sell the last few off...

We got the U12 new here in NZ - just the 4WD/Turbo SSS versions were imported

Anyway here is a Nissan for you - ok not a production model but a concept - who can tell me what is was based on and the year it appeared?

Ooo, I've seen that one before somewhere.... It was a concept in the mid 70's or so wasn't it?

The bluebird was the 'Super Nismo' version, FWD powered by a CA18DE.... SSS-R bonnet looks good though.  8)

I rekon that new concept looks nice! no idea what it is though.

The rims on the black JDM Bluebird are Nismo branded rims made by Enkei (15 x 6.5) as I have two sets for my 240!!

Yup, agreed. I have one now as my daily, standard they're no slouch. But with a bit of work done to them they're a good engine, especially with a decent tune.  :)

You are correct - well done the Kiwi ;)

Quote Nissan

Released at the 2009 Geneva Auto Show, the Infiniti Essence is a sport-luxury RWD hybrid coupe. Besides a 435hp VQ37 twin turbo engine, the Essence has a starter-generator which adds 158hp to the mix for a total of 593hp and dubbed "3D Drive". The starter-generator propels the Essence on electric power at low speeds, drawing on a lithium-ion battery pack stored in the trunk. The electric motors are smaller than conventional but the new design is twice as powerful. The Essence does not use a torque converter but has two seperate clutches for the gas and electric powered motors. The exterior of the vehicle is based on a design philosophy called "Dynamic Adeyaka" and utilizes razor sharp lines which contrast to the concave sweeps. The A-pillars utilize sideview cameras while external lighting is LED-based. The interior features an asymmetrical cabin which is divided into two areas separated by a large curving console between the seats that sweeps around to merge with the centre of the dashboard, in effect, creating a cocoon like environment. The interior is rounded out with leather, brushed aluminum and chronometer-style dials.

Yep, I'm registered on antrx under the same username. I'm running their Stage 3 chip at the moment, damn good results for the price, Ryan did a top job on them. Just a pity that few people care for U12's anymore  :( lol. Maybe I just have strange tastes? haha.

Wow, that Essence thing sounds great in concept.
