Looks like a  Datsun 100A Cherry see http://en.wikipedia....0.E2.80.9374.29 we got a few here in NZ

I've never seen one before but interesting to see the evolution of the car.

Started a little 120Y like, then went all scimitar, then 180Bish and finished honda Civic(ic)!

Ok so this is not a Nissan, but a rare bird that I'm hoping someone can identify

So what is it?

I'll give you a hint, it's definitely not Japanese and a very small amount were made.

Ok in this shot you can see the same Datsun Model 15 in the background - but can you ID the Nissan engine?

I'm gonna take a punt and say it's the engine that was found in the Nissan President and was also used in the 280zx (turbocharged in the states) for racing, producing around 800+ HP.

Yes well done.

Pretty easy that last one, well for anyone in Australia with a passing interst in cars anyways...... ;D

I had never seen 1 till recently. There is a nice yellow 1 on youtube.com

One of those actually wrote off my dad's Austin! Just a standard P76 though..hated them ever since..

Aren't they famous for being the most hated car in Australia?

i thought it was name a nissan not a bucket 8)

LOL, well it certainly wasn't a best seller. I think 10 were officially produced or something like that.
