Huw
Well...my seats are finally back, reupholstered and re-installed... mind you....i reckon it's almost as bad a job as working under the dash..must be a trick to it. fingers crossed i don't have to pull them out again (think i might to install carpets tho) will put some pics up tomorrow when it's light if i don't get distracted..... Bruce
I actually didn't think the seats install was that tough a job. Hope I am not stating the obvious, but I made sure that I ran the seats fully forward or back on the runners depending on which end of the seat I was working on. Made it easy to access the bolts. cheers Bruce
Zeddophile
yes, i'm curious as to what you were doing when you fitted them - its about a 5 min job per seat, the bolts are easy to get to.... Unless you have non standard seats? If you had to reassemble the backs onto the bases, thats a little different, but still easy - long as you assemble them tilted forwards. JP240z
I had no problem accessing the bolts on my seats, but did encounter difficulty when trying to line the bolts up with the non-slotted holes in the body. My seats came from Sulio, so weren't "used to" sitting in my car, consequently my bolts were millimeters out, causing half an hour of unhappiness. Cheers, JP. Huw
just fiddly cause all the bolts were crooked and some stripped.... also my car has a raised section behind the rear bolt holes....(my standard carpet kit doesn't fit cause of it) don't know why but it kinda like this ( I=raised section {}=mounts) I {} I{} I I I I I {} I{} anyway, getting the gearbox out is going a lot easier! ready to drop it tomorrow.
