dalee Posted August 26, 2009 Share Posted August 26, 2009 Those who know the fleet I have been unhappy with the stance of the red car and the soft ride for some time now so I made a list and out sourced... to Scootag In no order - Replace door locks - Clean, polish and detail gear box and diff while out - Clutch thrust bearing, clutch slave, 2* brake slaves - Rear main engine seal, g/box seals, wheel bearings, ball joints - Full suspension bush kit put through - Low king springs and tokico shocks - Rebuilt gutlux callipers on machined solid rotors (still fits the 14' rims) - Rebuilt rear drums with new bonded pads - Replace copper brake line PS - Paint under side of car incl wheel wells, trans tunnel and rear sub frame - Chrome plate various parts - Clean and paint all suspension components - bonnet stay Main idea was to get it to stop and handle much better, aready have a 24mm front sway bar and 16mm rear What did I miss Scootag ..... I just keep adding to the list allt he time. Then its on to the orange car to get it rolling and off to the panel beater.
