Add
Hi Guys, Yes its not a typo, a substitue for BMW Halo Headlights with an interesting name change. Could make the LED ring into an indicator light for an interesting mod. The thing that interests me is the fact that they could possibly increase headlight output by 30% not the bling factor . http://www.bluewiremotorsport.com/modules.php?name=Content&pa=showpage&pid=

S30Mike
So am i able to put a H4 phillips globe in my stock headlights?
.
you need to do a H4 conversion unless you already have H4s in your car.
S30Mike
Did the 260s come stock with H4s?
RBZ 260
i had mine on for 2 years still seem to be ok. i havent got the led ring just the lense looks same. my parkers are part of the headlamp now too. original ones are sealed beam. so if it hasnt been changed for a lense that has H4 globe than most probably not. since ur glass lense is most probably diffused rather than the reflector only way to find out is to pull it out. Mr240z
Did the 260s come stock with H4s? Pretty sure they all come out with sealed beams.. Hella or Narva do a H-4 conversion kit..
Moderators Zedman240® Posted July 20, 2009 Moderators Share Posted July 20, 2009 If you want cheap H4 conversions...just search the help yo self wreckers for any cars with 7" H4 inserts and rip them out! I removed a Bosch set off an old Volvo once..they were like new and I paid $12 for the two. There's 1000's of cars with that type of headlight; hardest part is finding a set with no sandblasting on the glass and a perfect reflector with the rubber seal intact. zedevan
i'm pretty sure there's someone on classiczcars that use's the ring as an indicator, that sure would look weirdly different! but y not get actual beema lights? i'm missing my headlights and am thinking of transfering them over to the subaru... http://www.viczcar.com/forum/index.php?action=dlattach;topic=399.0;attach=
sydney mike
The BWM's look alright, but a bit too much bling for me. Did the 260s come stock with H4s? I've never seen a 260z stock with H4s. Mine has had the Narva H4 conversion (done by the previous owner). Personally I don't like them. To me they just don't look right on an old car. They have a flat face. Does anyone know of H4 with the curve face like the stock sealed beams? I'm thinking of changing back. I know the old type aren't so bright, but I don't mind. .
I don't know of a H4 with a curve. But I have purchased headlight protectors that hit on any round headlight. They are clear plastic and have more of a curve to them. Ask at your local accessories shop. You might have to try a few before you find them. They last about 4-5 years before they start to get opaque.
