911's win almost every Sc race. Sorry to rain on the Zed parade :). One exception is the DeTomaso Pantera's that win occasionally.  ;D

I have come accross a 240 with a L28, 3 webers, fancy ignition system, uprated brakes, adjustable suspension, CAMS roll cage, all good straight & rust free. Advice on its approx value would be appreciated.

Cheers D

Sounds good so far, can you post up any pictures? Sounds like it might be worth anywhere from 15-20K?

Add the cost of retro fitting an L24 with original 240 carbs (and standard brakes -discs and calipers etc if these have been changed) to ensure it complies with Sc regs, also 14 x 6 wheels interior trim etc.

Yes this car is not suitable for Sc but should be good for sprints and Marque events although would get hammered by Porsches etc in that class.

Is the cage welded in or bolted in? Does it have coilovers? If you have some detailed pics that would help alot. With what info we have like everyone else has said, if the body IS rust free...around 15-20k mark should be worth it. For sure you would be saving a lot of cash if you found a standard zed and then had to modify later..
