I would start a new business called 'The Zed Emporium' everything from full restorations to a clubhouse out the back with a bar for the AusZcar boys and girls, we'd double up and hold church there on sundays! ;D
Rev.

I would be a financial partner to ReverendZed's Emporium idea.

i think 40g would get a nice sr20det powered lotus 7 :D

but looks like it there wont b much spare change by the time my 260z is back on the road, and it will be better suited to melbourne, since it has stupid heavy things like a roof and doors!

the sensible thing i'd like to do would be to buy an old townhouse near the city

ok change my mind. I would invest the $40K in doing a subdivision on the farm. This way the I would have a block of land to sell - more $$ to spend on toys etc :)

That would be awesome.  Might want a bit more than $40K though.  I know it cost over $200K to build a 1km go-kart track.  That was on the cheap too because the guy that did it had two sons racing at the time.

I have a 1 acre block that I'm waiting to build on and an unregistered R30 Skyline.  I've been thinking the same thing :)

a chassis straightener would eat all  of your 40 k and more :o
Unless your talking about the old floor rack and dozer  ;)
Tools would be a worth while investment though
