What cars have fuel pumps that can be used for a carburated car like the 240?

Hi, Any electric fuel pump will do as long as you use a fuel pressure regulator. Hitashi/su and Dellorto and Webers don't like more than 3 PSI. The trick is high volume ,low pressure so your not forcing fuel past the needle and seats.

I've read that an early 80's carburated RX-7 pumps are good seeing they provide about 3.5 psi. I guess I might use one of these seeing I would'nt neeed to add a regulator to it.

What did that one set you back Nate? Do you still leave the mechanical pump in line?
