So I take it there is no news here??

If not then I'm ordering through the U.S. as the car is almost ready to go.

Benzed

Would you be able to bring in this rim from Rota?
It's the WM7 spoke size 17x7 in -10 offset 4x114.3. I know its not a deep dish but a desirable offset.
Thanks Mick.

My wheels will be here at the end of this month, I'll post up pics then to end any confusion. Not sure what you mean by "RB-R proof"

Mick: Access Online do the DTM Z7 which is a very similar look. Pic enclosed. Bronze or silver.

http://cgi.ebay.com....bayphotohosting

Approx $1100 a set delivered. I recently bought a set of 18" DTM Rush and very happy with them and the service.

The 5-stud pattern could be overcome by using adapters to convert from 4-stud to 5-stud, eg:
http://www.ezaccesso...p/4450-5450.htm

They are a 2" spacer which would push your wheel out 50mm, so a +35 or so offset will give you a similar look to using a -10 on a stock flange. Worth considering, as it opens up your wheel choice dramatically. You could have a wider rim than 7" also.

I'm running 20mm bolt on 5-stud spacers on my 200ZR with no probs. Much safer than long wheel studs and simple spacers.

Edit:  Access Online advise that they will have 4-stud DTMs in a couple of months.

No I don't sell tyres. Any plain non-metallic colour such as black, white, red, blue, yellow etc.

Why non metallic colours?

Is it because of baking temperatures?

Do powder coatings come in semi transperant colours?

YES, they do a full clear also!!!!
i have seen some unique and unusual colours when dropping parts of to my mpowdercoater for my work.
They have a cool silver with thick pearl look. called 'citi pearl' i think. One of my customer gets all there gear done in this.
also has a slight translucence to it too.

That may be the case, but the price I quoted was for plain colours.

not really commenting on your price there buddy, just that it IS available.
I get to see some pretty trick stuff in my line of work and some of the things i have seen would be ideal for a customised car of any sort.
The pearl i speak of above is the same (cost to me) as any of our std ! off or 2 off jobs, but compared to our regular items we get p/coated its twice the price!!!

because your not selling from an online store or shopfront pples wil always ask if you can do more, not that im interested in these wheels or anything, but im just pointing out items of fact!!!
if you were offering it ppl would be sure to ask how much or expect a std price, honestly id quote with the pearls and if they only want a base metalic or flat colour, have the same price, that way youre never short & less hf!!!

The factory has delayed things a bit (as usual) but they aren't far away. I will post photos here as soon as they arrive.

not happy jan   ::)

I would be happy Jan at least someone is helping you zed guys by importing them. I had to import mine local here in NZ by myself = getting an import number, taxes, duty etc So I import 2 extra sets to help offset the costs for the rims that I installed my 240z (now sold :()

So I say well done Ben - and maybe in the future I might have to get a set from him and have them shipped to me in NZ - however I will be after some of the new RB-R in 17" x9 or 9.5 I would really like some 16x9 -13 in RB-R but they don't make them :( so I will have to save for a second set of RS Watanabes.
