The spigot bearing or bush is located in the crankshaft where the flywheel is bolted to. Automatic transmissions don't use one so when a conversion is done, you have to install it. The input shaft of the manual transmission actually sits in the spigot bearing for support in the crankshaft. Once its all off its easy to see. What you have pictured is the thrust bearing carrier. If and when you mount the man gearbox and it doest mate with the engine block, you may have to get another thrust bearing carrier. There are several different lenghts of them. You may also want to get the needle roller bearing version of the spigot bush. I can find the part number if you need it.
