I have a pair of round tops that will be replacing my flat tops in due course (once reconditioned). Is there anything I need to find, such as the balance tube, or is it a straight swap ? Will the original air cleaner fit (orange) or does it need to be modified ? Anything else I need ?

Must have missed this one.

240z and 260z air boxes are different, you will need the 240z box if you want retain an original looking engine bay. The balance tubes are slighty different. You will need to plug up the additional  holes in the 260z tube.

If you can I'd get the original 240z stuff, to make the switch over as painless as possible.
