Triptych
Hey guys. Unsure how I will go with this search but need a complete set of original belts for a 1973 240z including buckles as well. I will be getting the belts reconditioned so if anybody has a set laying around I am keen to grab them and pay postage. Cheers

gilltech
What about ADR compliance tags? Do the belt reconditioning people attach those? The problem with the old factory belts is that the tags are usually well degraded by now and just about illegible.
Triptych
I will have to search into it but they replace the whole webbing and use the original hardware. I would assume the webbing would have to confine to ADRs so that should be ADR tested and tagged.
Triptych
Gilltech, I was very keen on those belts you sent but I have been informed we didn’t get that style here so will have to keep searching.
gilltech
Not me, I think you mean Cracker. The photo in the Japanese link he posted shows belts of the same fixed style as on my NZ car. If not those you're wanting then the Aus-new cars must have got ADR compliant belts of some kind, hopefully someone can post a photo. Triptych
Haha you are right I didn’t scroll high enough sorry man. I have seen those belts before used in the US market but a few people I have spoken to said we didn’t get that design here (which sucks as I like that design). Been searching car sales to see if any cars have original belts for a 73 in them. I know they won’t be retractable like my 77 but the search continues but what I have been told they are 3 point like those ones but I think a single clip not click into each other . rb25240z
If you find a set looks like this company restraint.com.au can replace the webbing. No idea what the cost is but was planning on contacting them to do the same thing with my rx4 seat belts. My zed has modern belts and there no where near as nice as originals. In saying that I would never use 40 year old seat belts without having new webbing.
andyk_79
If Kangol magnetic seat belt latches are what AU cars had from factory then mine might be available soon. I have been contemplating replacing with modern catches.
Triptych
Send me a picture when you get a chance Andy. If they are factory belts I will be interested.
dat2kman
ADR35 was introduced in early 1970's rior to then, belts on imported cars had only the originating manufacturer of the belts details. Adam, I have a full set of early belts, from a 1972 Datsun, welcome to come and have a look.
