Administrators gav240z Posted February 23, 2018 Administrators Share Posted February 23, 2018 UK spec car? What gives you that impression? HS30-100011 was an HS30-H (Fairlady 240ZG). https://goo.gl/photos/KByRfi3z6Brmgs1d8 The other closest car I have is: HS30-100054 but that's an AU spec car. gilltech
What gives you that impression? Just wondering, looking at the bumper-mounted turn indicators, and the air dam design. But then it's got a vented 260Z bonnet on it too. And from a peek of a wheel centre what could be the 260Z alloys. But he's quoting '10036' whereas you're noting '100011' and '100054'; has he got the number of zeroes wrong? d3c0y
It's got 280ZX bonnet vents cut into the 240Z bonnet by the looks and those indicators are spot on for a '73. My '73 is just like this one when i bought it.
gilltech
Oops yes you're right, they aren't 260Z vents, my bad, duh, need to find my glasses..... He says '72, but maybe same as '73. They look like the UK spec items. So what did your '73 car have in the valance panels, just plain sidelights? Clear or orange? Another difference to the NZ cars. d3c0y
Just clear park lights. I'm pretty sure that '73 was the only year to get the orange dangle berries off the front bumper.
